Jelly Fish Metamorphosis: Triptych

A 3 panel oil paint/digital print mixed media series of a 6 stage metamorphosis development. Starting with the egg to polyp stage, the small to large medusa stage and thereafter the jellyfish to egg cycle. Can stand alone although are intended to sit alongside one another to create a spiritual sense of movement and development. A subtle self portrait that approaches life cycles and change through a scientific and abstract lenses. Inspired by spray paint textures, calligraphy, and biological media.
