As a West Yorkshire based multidisciplinary artist; my practice attempts to explore and translate a sublime feminine experience. I engage with motifs such as power, vulnerability, and survival through the use of natural vessels and spiritual iconography like the Oroboros. These subjects in turn act as natural metaphors for both feminine expression and innate duality.  

 Spanning across mediums like painting, printmaking, and 3D sculpture, I continue to materialize a collection that focuses on wild animals and intimacy; intending to portray their opposing identities. Alluring and merciless though endangered and sublime. I’m often engaged with current affairs and try to stay informed on issues concerning our environment and civil landscape. The merging of these concepts while seemingly irrelevant, are intrinsically intertwined. The historical and ongoing experiences of women are woven with sacrifice and this understanding is plentiful within my practice .

 Altogether my work aims to invite viewers into a reflective space fueled with tension and relatable experiences. By merging the vibrancy of nature with the subtleties of feminine identity, social narratives, and power constructs my practice seeks to translate a paradox of surrender and destruction which can be felt universally.
